Elections 2015

During the general elections, two candidates divided the citizens’ votes: Sandra Torres, former First Lady who divorced to circumvent the prohibition to become a presidential candidate herself; and

Jimmy Morales, a former TV comedian that beat all odds by getting enough votes to move forward to the second round of presidential elections.
