Xejuyup FC
A group of men prepare themselves for a quick game of football. While this is a normal occurrence in the small town of Xejuyup in Nahualá, these men bring their traditional maya K'iche' culture to it. They decided their team's uniform would include a colorful shirt and a "coxtar", a sort of skirt which is part of the traditional men's clothing of their department, Sololá.
Miguel Perechú, and the team's founder, his father Antonio, dream that one day they will make it to one of the national leagues. In the meantime, they are proud to practice and play in their town and wherever they get invited, to share their love for the game and for their rich culture.
